Tokyo
had an extraordinary cool rainy season this year.
We
had rainy or cloudy days for about a month through late July. The total of
sunlight hours during the period from June 28 to July 21 was only 14% of the average
in the past years.
Now,
the gloomy season seems to have been over. We had summer days in this week.
I found several summer
flowers inside and outside of the park.
Tachiaoi (Alcea rosea) is one of the examples.
I also found fuyo (cotton rosemallow) flowers in a walking path.
This is a photo of grape plants.
The
temperature goes up over 30 degrees these days. It is lower than Paris, but it
is hot.
